150 years of Laryngectomy - past, present, and future

December 2023 will mark the 150th anniversary of the first total laryngectomy performed by Theodor Billroth on 31 Dec 1873.
To celebrate such a milestone in medical history, on 1-2 December we will have a symposium in the historic rooms of the Billrothhaus in Vienna, with a distinguished international faculty of head and neck surgeons and laryngologists coming from all over the world, titled: “150 years of laryngectomy: past, present, and future”
The Austrian head and neck society together with the European laryngological society, are pleased to invite you to Vienna to commemorate together this unique occasion.
